1) How many songs on each CD?
This varies from CD to CD. Some specialty themes have as few as 6 songs or as many as 13. Most have 8 to 10 songs, each singing the child's name 5 to 10 times per song.
2) What is the appropriate age for the CDs?
Depending on the maturity of the child, usually 10 months to 7 years for most of the CDs, though some of them focus on certain skills and behaviors typically associated a specific school/preschool level. For example "My Very Own Music" is the CD geared for our youngest age group with it's wake-up songs and lullabies, though it also has songs about sharing and ABC's, which will be familiar to pre-schoolers. "Kool Songs," "Awesome Kids Music," and "Kidz Tunes" also have songs about counting, colors, and ABC's, but geared at the 3-6 year old level. And "Made For You Music" is for the 3-7 age group, with it's songs about adventures, and imagination. Play the samples and decide for yourself what fits best. They are wonderful, and remember to listen from the child's perspective. These songs were designed with THEM in mind.
3) Are they geared for boys or girls? Or both?
All the songs are designed to be for both boys and girls. Each CD has a mix of upbeat "danceable" songs, as well as soothing "wind-down" songs.
4) What if you don't have my spelling?
On the CD itself, we are most concerned about proper pronunciation of the name. Try all kinds of alternative spellings. Look for matches that sound the same (like Brian and Bryan). You will have a place to specify the correct spelling for the CD label. But the names on the CD list are more for pronunciation than anything else. If you are concerned about the pronunciation, and do not feel sure about the available selections, we encourage you to call us on 508-667-0602. We would be more than happy to work with you over the phone, even trying multiple names on a live system until we are both satisfied with the results. You'd be surprised how creative we can be, and find correct pronunciations in surprising places you may not think to look.
5) How can I be sure the pronunciation is correct?

6) How long until I receive my growth chart(s), clock(s), or book(s)?
Typically 3-4 weeks. We encourage you to order a little earlier for the holidays as things get very busy, and a little extra time will ensure your items make it onto Santa's sleigh in time. At holiday time, we suggest adding at least 2 weeks (just for your peace of mind). So Thanksgiving is cutting it close. Think more like Halloween.
7) How long until I receive my CD(s)?
CDs typically take 3-5 business days, but you can request overnight shipping for an additional charge. If you are local, we can manufacture a CD for you in a matter of minutes at our Solomon Pond Mall location.
8) Do you accept AMEX or Discover?
Unfortunately at this time we do not accept AMEX of Discover cards. We DO accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit (ATM) Cards (as long as they have the Visa or Mastercard logo on them), Personal Checks, and Cash.
9) Can you make a CD with more than one child's name on it?
We cannot imbed more than one child's name on a CD (in the songs themselves), but we can put anything you want on the label. For example…"For Julia, Love, Mom, Dad, Sarah, and Thomas" But we do want to be fair and not make you chose which of your children get a CD and which don't, so if you have multiple children in mind, contact us for multiple CD pricing.
10) Can you mix songs from multiple CDs?
No. The songs on each CD are specific to that CD. Only the child's name will vary from CD to CD. If you love songs from several of the CDs, we wholeheartedly encourage you to buy them all.
11) Can the CDs be played on any stereo, or only the computer?
These are standard audio CDs that can be played on any CD player, car stereo, computer, or walkman.
12) Can special arrangements and pricing be worked out for larger orders, such as groups, classes, party favors, or special functions?
Absolutely. We are flexible and excited by such opportunities, and we encourage you to call us directly to explore options and pricing.
13) Can we put two names on a clock or growth chart?
Unfortunately there are length limitations. Two very short names might fit on a growth chart. Like the twins Bob and Jim. But on a clock, there is only room for one name.
14) In what other languages are the CDs available?
"Kidz Tunes " is available in Spanish, and "My Very Own Music" is available in both Spanish and French.
15) Are the books available in other languages?
Not at this time. Though most non-English names can be printed in the books as long as they make use of the Western alphabet.
16) What if I have a unique pronunciation and I want to be sure it sounds right on the CD?
